Through the generosity of Andy Belmont Racing’s primary sponsor Berwyn, PA-based Mod Space (Modular Space Corporation) the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Re/Max and Menards team will carry Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ & Philadelphia colors and logo in the July 31st event at Pocono (PA) International Raceway.
Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ & Philadelphia will ride along on the Team Modspace #14 Ford Fusion piloted by Nick Igdalsky of Pocono Summit, PA at the famed 2.5 mile superspeedway.
“Goodwill is thrilled to have been invited by Mod Space and Team ABR to be a part of the Pocono event. Our message is simple: ‘We Put People To Work.’ Being associated with two organizations that exemplify hard work, great service and philanthropy every day just as we do will greatly help Goodwill spread its charitable mission of turning on the power of work for people with special needs,” said Goodwill President & CEO Mark B. Boyd.
Through job training and career services, Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ & Philadelphia helps individuals with disabilities and disadvantages obtain the marketable job skills needed to become employed. The sale of gently-used donated items in Goodwill’s retail stores fund these worthwhile programs.
“Andy Belmont Racing has always been involved in helping others. Even when it was difficult for us, we never forgot how fortunate we are and have done our best to lend a helping hand. Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ & Philadelphia is in the backyard of where I grew up and started racing. It is our pleasure to help get the word out about the great things Goodwill is doing,” said ABR Founder Andy Belmont from the company facility in North Carolina.
