Campbell’s Field Named One Of America’s Great Ballparks

Stadium to be Featured in Baseball America’s Great Parks Calendar
  The Camden Riversharks recently announced that they have been selected for inclusion in Baseball America’s 2010 Great Parks Calendar. This is the second time that the national publication has honored Campbell’s Field as one of the nation’s best ballparks. It had previously done so in 2004 as well.
  “We’re thrilled to be named as one of the country’s best ballparks for a second time,” said Riversharks General Manager, Adam Lorber. “We take great pride in maintaining a clean, family friendly, first rate facility, and it’s nice to see our efforts recognized by a publication such as Baseball America, which is so well respected within the industry.”
  Baseball America has not been the only publication to bring national acclaim to Campbell’s Field since its construction in 2001. The stadium was named the Ballpark of the Year by DigitalBallparks.com in 2003, and was one of only two stadiums to earn a prestigious ten out of ten rating by the website.
  Campbell’s Field is a 6,425 seat stadium situated along the Delaware River in Camden, New Jersey. Famous for its unbeatable view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Philadelphia skyline, the ballpark is not only the home of the Camden Riversharks, but also the Rutgers University Camden Campus Scarlet Raptors (NJ). It will also be the home field of the Saint Joseph’s University Hawks (PA) for the 2010 season.
  Stadium amenities at Campbell’s Field include 20 Luxury Suites, 417 Club Level Seats, and an outdoor picnic seating area along the third base line. The ballpark also features a children’s play area which includes a rock climbing wall, bouncing inflatables, a carousel, and a 5,000 foot playscape.

       The mission of the Next Generation Aviation Research Park (ARTP) is to promote sustained economic growth and job creation throughout New Jersey and the nation by implementing and operating a cooperative, state-of-the-art aviation Research Park that will support the evolution of the Next Generation aviation environment.
       At full build out, the Park will include seven multi-story buildings with a total of over 400,000 square feet of laboratory and research space located on the campus of the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center which is the nation’s leading air transportation Federal Facility.

      January is not a big month for “don’t miss” events, But it is home to one of, if not “the,” premier events of the year—the State Chamber’s annual “Walk to Washington.”
      The tradition began in 1937 when several of the state's top business executives took a train to Washington to have dinner with New Jersey's congressional delegation. The rest is history. The Walk to Washington obtained its name when participants realized that few sit on the train; they literally walk the train mingling and exchanging business cards the whole way to Washington.
