Lawnside Maaco Receives Convention Award
01/19/10
Michael Klein of Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting in Lawnside received the 20th-Time $1 Million Center Sales award at a convention recently held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
"I'm honored to be singled out for accolades from among all 475 Maaco franchises," Klein said. "I have a great team supporting me in the center and at the corporate office." The Lawnside facility is located at 230 Gloucester Pike.
Said Maaco President David Lapps, "This center is to be commended for creating a superb brand experience that keeps customers coming back."
At the convention, industry and company authorities led educational workshops in crew development and customer satisfaction, along with advanced repair processes for advanced automotive technology, designs and materials.
The Maaco story began nearly 40 years ago when the late Anthony A. Martino opened the first Maaco center in Wilmington, Del. Repeat and referral business powered quick expansion, and humorous "Uh, oh...better get Maaco!" commercials amplified name recognition. Today, 475 centers repair and paint more than 600,000 vehicles each year.
