  The BNI* Marlton Central Chapter is pleased to announce that their Chapter will be hosting a special Visitors Day Networking Meeting at Links Golf Club, 100 Majestic Way, Marlton, NJ 08053 on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 11:30 AM.
  “This special meeting is geared toward helping local business people gain insight on how BNI works,” says prominent local businessperson John Rowand of Case Handyman and Remodeling Services. How to build a successful referral based business through a structured word-of-mouth marketing program will be the focus of this meeting.

  Community members will have the rare opportunity to get a “behind-the-scenes” look at an actual hospital Operating Room on Thursday, June 18th, at an Open House for the new Kennedy Health System Surgical Suite at Kennedy – Washington Township.

  Commissioner Stephen Dilts announced that the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will resurface over four miles of Route 38 westbound from east of Creek Road in Hainesport Township to Route 295 in Mount Laurel Township, Burlington County.

  J.S. Hovnanian & Sons was recently honored for their innovative homes and creative marketing during the New Jersey Builders Association’s 22nd Annual Sales and Marketing (SAM) Awards gala, winning a total of eighteen awards for their Villages at Aberdeen and Siena communities.
  Presented during the 60th Annual Atlantic Builder Convention, the highly-coved SAM awards recognize excellence in residential design and marketing programs within New Jersey and are given in more than 80 categories.

  Shop for or donate clothes, furniture, electronics, toys, or other items at the new non-profit Durand Thrift Store, employing adults with special needs.  Brand name clothing and never-used, still tagged items are available at 549 North Evergreen Avenue in Woodbury, New Jersey, in the Evergreen Square Shopping Center.  The store is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 to 4 and Saturdays 9 to 3.  Donations may be dropped off or picked up, by calling the store at 856-845-8913.  Durand provides receipts for tax purchases for all charitable donations.
