   There are a lot of interesting “facts” about South Jersey that many people who live and work in our region don’t know. Some are marginal. Some are remarkable. But most are really pretty interesting.

  The name of late, lamented Congressman Anthony Weiner was not yet a household joke across the nation when the Burlington County Chamber presented its annual Women’s Business Forum last month.
  So the perils of “Living a Life Online” were less obvious and a workshop of the same name was a substantial draw for the scores of business women who turned out in response to the Chamber’s promise to “elevate women’s business insight and intuitive skills to new heights.”

  Gloucester County welcomed the seventy employees of SSM Industries Inc. to the community today at a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the manufacturing company’s move to the Mid-Atlantic Corporate Center.

  Telesto Group, LLC recently moved its global headquarters within the Princeton area to 1060 State Road in Montgomery Township, New Jersey.  Its previous headquarters was also in Montgomery Township. The 3,500-square-foot office located near the Princeton Airport streamlines the company’s locally-based office staff, represents an infrastructure upgrade, and will allow for growth with the company.

  From condo developments to business parks, stalled projects have left a gap in projected revenue for many cities. Moving redevelopments forward amid this recession is the goal of the multi-faceted Strategic Alliance, a group of eight professionally diverse firms, working with municipalities to jumpstart projects in today’s real estate market.
  To reach key decision makers, Strategic Alliance members will be participating in one of Atlantic City’s largest conventions, the 94th annual conference of the NJ League of Municipalities (NJSLOM) to be held on November 17 – 19 in Atlantic City. The Alliance members will be providing an exhibit booth during the three-day event offering solutions in today’s recovering economy. The conference attracts New Jersey politicians, mayors and city administrators.
